Founded in 1947 by Archer Kahn, American Metalcraft has been a family-owned business for three generations. The company has grown over the years from a local customer base in Chicago to customers in all 50 states and over 75 countries around the world, manufacturing over 2,000 items in house for its product line. In fact, the company prospered and grew so rapidly in the 1980’s that it had to move into a larger facility twice. American Metalcraft’s main product line is in pizzeria supplies, bar supplies and plate covers, but has added many items for the kitchen and buffet line as well, including a large line of creative baskets.
